Now Accepting Applications for 2017 Scholarships

Every year, Freedom First awards nearly $10,000 in academic scholarships to exceptional students in the Roanoke and New River Valleys. Botetourt, Craig & Franklin County residents are also eligible. We are currently accepting applications through April 7, 2017

Freedom First Sponsors Grocery Dash

The biggest sports competition to hit southwest Virginia happened at the Bonsack Kroger on Wednesday when WSLS 10’s Dawn Jefferies & Jeff Haniewich and Freedom First's Dave Prosser went up against Daytime Blue Ridge’s Natalie Faunce and Brittany Flowers in a grocery cart challenge to help feed more than a half dozen families for the holidays.
